i never thought about it! i think like, proper sessions seem so out of reach for me bc i'd want to do them with people who are properly into it, like people with the same kink. it's harder to trust and enjoy it without anxiety when it's someone who's doing it because they know i like it, as sweet as it is of them. unfortunately it's a lot harder to meet people in the uk, especially ones who i'm comfortable with. i'm much more comfortable with other queer people, and queer tickle fetishists in the uk seem to all be hiding from me lmao i've never met another person who likes tickling irl (but i will next weekend yippeeeee)

to ler, i've always wanted to do one with someone standing with their wrists pulled above their head, attached to a fitting in the ceiling. and they're like away from the wall so i can stand behind them. something about tickling sides/armpits from behind actually makes me feral. i think one of the first tickling videos i ever watched when i was super young was that kind of position, so it influenced me. but i just looove that, like the idea of them trying to get away and pressing their body back against mine hhhhh intoxicating

i'd also love to have someone tied spread eagle and just see how long they could take it for. my ex girlfriend, f, (she's been in a few videos on here) is hyperticklish so tickling her was always like, five seconds then stop, five seconds then stop. that kind of sensitivity is fun, but i like the idea of someone who's more of a challenge, like just exploring their body and studying them and seeing how they react to different spots. just like spending hours on it would be so fun and satisfying.

to lee, i'd love to do the same, like a study and endurance test. spread eagle is such a good position for it. i feel like with a proper ler, who takes their time and tries lots of techniques, my upper body actually could be ticklish (if you're new here, i basically have three proper spots that make me laugh and none of them are upper body and it makes me SAD). just like someone who takes the time to experiment with my body and also who like, doesn't need me to be super ticklish, they're happy with the reactions they get.

Y’ALL I’m breaking my no-fandom rule for a sec to say that I think the tv show white collar might have been my true awakening and influenced all my future whump/hurt comfort tastes 🤩

more details below for interested parties, otherwise scroll on by 😂

for those unfamiliar, white collar is a show about a con man who cuts with a deal to work as a consultant for the FBI. essentially, the whole show is built around him solving high-class crimes with his FBI partner, and them navigating between the con man’s grey view of right and wrong and his FBI partner’s by-the-book morals as they work together.

anyways, it’s generally lowkey whump (think blue-sky-era USA network shows like psych, not super graphic, usually not super drawn out, generally resolved by the end of the episode) but I’m doing a rewatch and there’s been SO MUCH whump in literally the first season??! and some of it’s so creative??

for example, it contains one of the only plot arcs I’ve ever seen where the good guys are actually the whumpers. (spoilers for episode 1x09 ahead). basically, there’s a bad rich doctor guy who was born with one kidney and is obsessed with finding someone who will be his donor and sets up a whole scam to rip other people in need of organ donations off to fund his search for the perfect match. so to trap him, the FBI essentially tricks him into thinking he has all the symptoms of kidney failure so they can get him to use the financial account where he keeps all the stolen money. Like that’s so messed up??? but yet so wild??

this is obv the most extreme example but there are SO many other small little whump moments like getting trapped/held hostage, people getting drugged/injured (and even a tiny bit of comfort when we get lucky) and it’s one of my favorite shows and I just had to shout about it and recommend it to others 🤣
